Woah...what a bittersweet 24 hours.
Handed in my final assessment for the semester today, so feeling nice and free. But - and that's a big but - this morning I received an email from my landlord, notifying me that we're being evicted, as they want to do renovations. So, basically we've got a month to get out. I've only ever seen this in movies, but it's much worse in real life! The next month I'm going to be in Adelaide, so how on Earth am I supposed to find another Sydney home? Oh well, I guess I have to look at this as a blessing in disguise. Perhaps I'll get to live in a house with no smokers. Filthy habit. The only reason it looks so good in photos, is because you can't smell it. So tonight I believe I have a legitimate excuse to fall into a self induced grape coma. I'm going to need a few bags to get me through this.
On a lighter note, thanks Elwood for my new sweats! Love them - there's something so nice about knit trackies. It says, I'm luxurious but lazy. Or something like that x

Feeling it too :( same thing happened to my fam when we used to rent out a house during the first few months in melbourne back then. Keep searching hun. Hope you find a new homely place to stay in :D hopes up!

that happened to me once when i lived in california, the place was a shithole anyway and i found a closer place to the beach anyway so, with less mold on the walls. hope you find a place soon! in the meantime keep it classy!!!

I feel for you, I have just done the flat hunt in Sydney and it's not fun. On a positive note I only had two weeks and I found somewhere after 8 days. Good luck x
