No brief to fulfil, just free to take on freak waves & bask in the 12 degree heat. 

And I think Teddy's beauty speaks for itself.

So I think I've found my new happy place. Yesterday arvo my friend Jessie and I headed over to Propped Up Studios to take a peek BTS of the General Pants campaign shoot (thanks Jaharn!). Upstairs was the coolest studio, but downstairs was Wonderland. A warehouse crammed full of props from every fairytale on the planet. It was like an enchanted maze, fresh out of Tim Burton's imagination. We ran around like giggling children for a good half an hour. Then headed over to the EGPR offices for their bloggers evening. So great to meet new friends, drink from jars & chat about reality tv.

REBEL YELL SPRING '13 CAMPAIGN

This was fun. 

US label Rebel Yell asked 12 of their muses, from across the globe, to feature in their latest campaign - yearbook style. The campaign is a tribute to the 1979 movie, Little Darlings. We were each given a high school character to play, and I chose tomboy - no surprises there! 

A huge thanks to Rebel Yell for involving me - I feel so honored to be a part of it.

Finally made it to bed after the most amazing night celebrating my (belated) 21st birthday, with my hilarious Brisbane family. Feeling so spoilt and loved - have just gained about 10kg of rather stylish, oversized fashion books. And another 10kg of guacamole. I don't think I'll be kissing anyone for about 3 years...

Also, decided to give the old waving iron a whirl, to channel my inner Candice (here). Couldn't quite pull off the fro, so tried this messy updo instead. Bit of fun. 

Righto, off to sleep - was hoping to catch some Olympic theatrics before lights out, but all that's on is this Equestrian nonsense. So very vanilla. Can't wait for the diving/lack of splash championships - my favourite. Night night x

Last night involved carparks, puddles and the most brilliant 5 hour conversation. All thanks to this girl. Good company is really all you need. Leaving Adelaide in 2 days, getting a little anxious about the airport and that offensive luggage limit. x

Woah...what a bittersweet 24 hours. 
Handed in my final assessment for the semester today, so feeling nice and free. But - and that's a big but - this morning I received an email from my landlord, notifying me that we're being evicted, as they want to do renovations. So, basically we've got a month to get out. I've only ever seen this in movies, but it's much worse in real life! The next month I'm going to be in Adelaide, so how on Earth am I supposed to find another Sydney home? Oh well, I guess I have to look at this as a blessing in disguise. Perhaps I'll get to live in a house with no smokers. Filthy habit. The only reason it looks so good in photos, is because you can't smell it. So tonight I believe I have a legitimate excuse to fall into a self induced grape coma. I'm going to need a few bags to get me through this. 


On a lighter note, thanks Elwood for my new sweats! Love them - there's something so nice about knit trackies. It says, I'm luxurious but lazy. Or something like that x

this jacket is a keeper. It never fails to thrill me. Hence, the title. 

Also, I stumbled across this tee in an Etsy store, and clicked buy without a mili-second of hesitation. It also came in a hoodie version (which I got too, yess) however it seems that's sold out. I'd share mine with you, buuut that wouldn't really work. Still plenty of fake Chanel tee's to go around, click here to get yours. Sorry Karl.

Last night, I was lucky enough to attend the Billy Blue BBETWEEN Launch event, on the MCA rooftop. Breathtaking views does not even begin to describe what we were looking at - especially with the Vivid Light Show in full swing. 

My plus 1 was my dear friend Ploy, who just happens to have the most amazing wardrobe. How stunning is her vintage lace Chloé dress? And I just about fell over when she put on those Prada mohawk heels. The girl has taste. She's launching an online vintage store in the not too distant future, so I'll post the link once it's up and running. That's one you don't want to miss. 

Anyway, we had such a beautiful evening, thanks for having us Billy Blue x
