I seem to be forever tucking a piece of hair behind my ear, or staring at something particularly interesting on the ground. Will try and make an effort to look up more. 

Anyway, this is my outfit from last night - I spent the funnest evening with the top top chicks over at Elise Garland PR. They held a Bloggers soirée in their amazing studio - where I selected my tops picks from their new Fall/Winter stock - including labels like Jac + Jack, The Casette Society, Morrison & many many more. My two favourite pieces were a) the most incredible white tailored jacket you've ever seen, by Morrison, and b) a floor length gold knit dress by Jac + Jack. Not going to lie, I struggled a little putting those two back on their racks...

Just want to say a HUGE thank you to the beautiful EGPR girls, for being so friendly and absolutely hilarious.  Such a cool bunch of girls, that office has the best energy. And of course a giant thank you for spoiling me rotton with my overflowing goodie bag! I had such a fun night, and was so great to meet some fellow Aussie bloggers residing in Sydney town.

My hair does not like rain. Apologies for the mop that is sitting on top of my head, the Sydney sky decided to cry this morning. Anyway, was Orientation Day at Whitehouse today. Met some really cool chicks, and a really cool guy. A big fat yaay to new friends, I now have more than one Sydney friend! 

BDO X GENERAL PANTS CO.

About a month ago, I was lucky enough to be approached by General Pants Co. and asked to be their official blogger for the Adelaide Big Day Out. I was kindly gifted a double pass, and given the task of documenting my BDO experience through photos. So this was our day. It was filled with frequent freestyle rapping (clearly demonstrating my skills in pic 6), an insane performance from the Hilltop Hoods in their hometown, and a half hour mesmerization watching Tony Hawke do his thang. That guy, I tell you what, he is flexible. 

A giant thank you to my best friend in the entire world, Soph (hot tanned pretty thing in the pink dress) for staying hyper all day long with me, as well as helping push to the front of the mosh pitt to see Kasabian. We just stood there the whole performance staring at Serge. He is so hilarious, sexy and cute at the same time. He shall make a fine husband. 

And a SUPER giant thank you to the guys over at General Pants Co. for inviting me on board - we had such a blast, I want to do it all again X

Well, well, well. 
Look what I finally got around to doing. Was the first really sunny day since I moved to Sydney, so just about spent the whole day outside. Probably not ideal beanie weather, but oh well. I got a chance to take my new spaceboots for a spin, as well as my new Dogeared necklace. I love it's simplicity, never taking this one off.

Must try and do more outfit posts - they are a little bit of fun. Nighty night, I'm off to have a couple of Skype dates with my loves back home X

I've been eyeing off Lisa Marie Fernandez swimsuits online for a while, but when this baby popped up at a 50% off sale, and rolled my wetsuit-style-bikini fetish & high-neck obsession into one, I had to buy. Also, excuse the side-boob, will remember to tuck that in at the beach.

It was my Sister's engagement party last night, so I decided white was an appropriate colour. I'm usually the clumsiest thing when it comes to keeping white clean, so had to make an extra effort on the co-ordination front. 


I woke up this morning with a sore stomach from laughing, so I'm guessing I had a good time. The most vivid memory I have was Soph & I hopelessly trying to balance, in our 6 inch heels, on a banana chair and failing miserably...over & over. The dark side of determination.


Anyway, was so great to see all my amazing family & friends in one hit, as well as meeting a whole new bunch of them - rowdy doesn't even begin to describe the combination. Haya & James, congrats! Love you both so much, and can't wait until the big day x

I found this leather skirt at a thrift store 2 weeks ago, and it was a hiiideous pencil skirt. But I loved the fabric, so bought it anyway, and yesterday ruched up the sides to create a draping effect. Finito x

decided to experiment with a pot of hair wax last night. I dont think I've ever combed my hair so much in my life. It resulted in me feeling a little like Danny Zuko - but was fun changing it up for a night. Hope you all had great weekends! x

MUM & DAD CIRCA 1979

So for Dad's belated birthday present, I decided to go through all the old photo albums at Mum's house (Dad & Mum are divorced, but still good pals), and scan the old photos, so he too, has a hard copy of all those good memories. I think Mum's been meaning to do it for him for the last 10 years, but never really got around to it. I had SUCH a blast seeing 20-something Mum & Dad peeking out at me from the pages. It sounds weird, but it's really fascinating for me to see them like this, in love, that is. They split when I was pretty young, so I'm glad I have these pictures to remind me that once upon a time they were madly in love. It's kinda like that Good Charlotte song...same year and everything x
