Love this. There's an eery feel to every single one of them and you can just barely grasp onto the history of these places. Oh to be there when each of these places were active :)

the first picture is called the jesus of the abyss and its actually an art instillation that was put there in the 50s and was restored about ten years ago! still pretty amazing!
Love this post. I was wondering what your background was as far as uni goes? You have a really sharp eye for images but your writing is equally as impressive. Anyway, adore the blog.
