Last week on the 24th of June, gay marriage was legalised in New York state - a huge step forward for civil rights in the USA. They sure took their time joining the 21st century - lets hope other governments around the world follow in their footsteps. Congrats New York! x

Same-sex marriages are currently not permitted under Australian federal law. They're one step ahead of Australia!
Its so ridiculous - it's legal in Australia to be homosexual but its not legal to make it official by marriage. Lets hope we get there soon!
